In our Morning Worship, we continued our sermon series in Matthew’s Gospel by reflecting on “A Touch of Compassion” from Matthew 8:14–22. We considered how Jesus does not merely speak with authority, but also touches with tenderness, entering into human weakness and bearing our sicknesses and sorrows.
