Tonight we continued our series on the life of Elijah, turning to 1 Kings 21 and the account of Naboth’s vineyard. Ahab grasped after what he could not keep, while Naboth stood firmly upon the Word of God. We were reminded to hold the things of this earth lightly, to hold God’s Word more firmly, and above all, to hold Christ supremely—the One who is our true and everlasting treasure.
